We have developed a broad interest in Japanese culture and art in recent years along with our constant passion for bonsai. On this occasion, the idea of own production of typical work clothes, SAMUE, was born. The outfit is definitely comfortable and made of denim, it can withstand the hardships of any work, especially in the garden at NIWAKI & BONSAI.
Samue is a garment that has many uses. Traditionally worn by monks in Zen Buddhist temples, artists or doctors. In recent years, wearing Samue has emerged outside the home as particularly comfortable informal wear. Samue is worn without a belt. Our men's Samue are made according to a traditional Japanese pattern. This is clothing both for everyday use and for work.
