Description
Hand-painted linen haori.
By becoming the owner of this kimono, you gain a guarantee of its uniqueness. This kimono is one of a kind. There will never be another identical one, so this is the only chance to buy it.
Haori 羽織 is traditional Japanese light clothing with a loose cut. The length of a short haori can range from hip-length to mid-thigh. In the case of a long haori, it can even reach the calves. Unlike the classic kimono, haori are not closed, they are usually worn open or tied with strings below the chest.
Our kimonos are a modern, Europeanized version of a traditional Japanese costume. They are intended to be casual, but depending on the type of fabric they are made of and the selected accessories, we can wear them, for example, as a dress, bathrobe, instead of a jacket or jacket, or even as a coat. A traditional kimono does not have pockets, but it does have wide and long sleeves, stitched to create a pocket in which we can easily hide the most necessary items, e.g. a phone, a book, glasses and sunscreen :))
Some of our kimonos come with a belt, others are tied with strings, but all of them have very wide sleeves, giving freedom of movement and loosely covering the arms, and their length emphasizes the wrists and everything we like to hang on them :)). The V-neck that is created after tying the kimono optically slims the figure and can help us emphasize or hide what we want.
